Colin Dechant gives a speech about his father, former Goshen High School wrestling coach John Dechant, during the celebration of life ceremony for John Wednesday at Goshen High School. John was also a history teacher, Dean of Students and Athletic Director at various times while at GHS. John passed away on Oct. 15 in Syracuse. Colin is wearing his dad's old varsity football sweater from when John played at Ball State University. About 200 people attended the celebration in person, and the event was also streamed online for those who couldn't make it.
