As the temperature reached into the high 80s Wednesday, Evelyn Lara, 2, of Goshen, decided to take a sip of the water at the Rieth Park splash pad. The park department's splash pads have been popular this week as tempetures moved into the 90s and high 80s. The National Weather Service forecast is for continued daily highs of 90 or above for the rest of the week.
