Dawn Buchanan of Freemont, Indiana, rides up a hill on the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail Saturday during the annual Pumpkinvine Bike Ride. Ride official Tim Drescher said more than 1,000 people registered for the ride and 852 had actually ridden in the event by noon. The ride raises funds to close the gap in the trail between Goshen and Middlebury and will also provide funds for maintenance.
