Ashley Molyneaux, executive director of EEF, said the event drew about 500 runners and walkers. "We usually raise $20,000 with this event, which is pretty decent for a run," Molyneaux said. "We're excited to put all that money toward our extracurricular grants. So teachers, coaches, directors, they ask us for grant money to help cover some of the costs of these high-impact extracurricular activities because we don't want any kid to not be able to participate because they can't afford it."
