Fourth-grade students in Elizabeth King's class try to keep a weather balloon steady through strong winds Friday morning during a launch at Ox Bow Elementary School in Dunlap. The Ox Bow Stratosphere Strategists started planning for the launch in January by researching laws and the safety of launching a balloon. The students are expecting the balloon to land in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
