Following the color guard presentation, several speakers spoke about how much they appreciate what police officers do for the community each and every day. That was followed with Fred Rogers playing Amazing Grace on the bag pipes. Afterwards, a three-volley salute was fired and Taps was played. The ceremony honored officers who have died in the line of duty. Goshen officer Thomas Goodwin is the only Goshen Police Officer to die in the line of duty.
