Joel Thompson, of Mishawaka, reads lines for the role of Farmer Dale with casting director for the upcoming feature film The Shade Shepherd, Carrie Lee Bland-Kendall, Wednesday morning at Art House, 211 South Main Street. Thompson said he has been acting for several decades, mainly theatrically, but more recently he has been involved with local film and thought it would be fun to do some acting. The casting call continues Thursday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Art House.
