Millersburg resident Grant Farrand taxis his hand-built model airplane to the starting line at the Millersburg R.C. Modelers second annual contest. He and seven other contestants from around the country spent all day Sunday at Cook Station Park in Millersburg racing their aircraft. Farrand was one of three winners for the longest endurance. Steve Goodwin from Saint Francis and Jim Offer, from Florida also finished the 10-hour race. Hoffer had 15 minutes of fuel left, Goodwin had four hours and Farrand had 10 hours of fuel. Six hour contest finishers were R.J. Monroe from Middlebury, Danny Hanna from Goshen, Lee Mann from Elkhart and Bob Barger from Bristol.
