JAY YOUNG | THE GOSHEN NEWS
Seven-year-old Carter Loomis, of Goshen, drops to his knees to check to see if his Lego house is still standing Monday afternoon at the Middlebury Community Library. Children spent the afternoon building small houses out of toothpicks, plastic drinking straws and then Legos while they learned the story of the three little pigs. After each house was built, the children would then blow them over like the wolf in the story. Since the Lego houses were so sturdy, they used a parachute, moving it quickly up and down, to generate enough wind to topple the structures.
