The restored statue on the Elkhart County Courthouse lawn was unveiled Wednesday morning with brief comments from county officials and relatives of the statue donor. Pictured from left are Andrea Abshire with daughter Alexis; Andrea's mother, Helen Angelo, Goshen; and Conie Poleszoes. Conie and Helen are daughters of the statue donor, James Poleszoes. The 7-foot casting was broken and the trident in Neptune's hand was vandalized with the three-pointed end stolen last winter.
