The first two of three new redwood signs for the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds were installed this week at the intersection of U.S. 33 and C.R. 34 by B & S Signcrafters, who donated their labor for the sign project. Pictured are Jim Steffen, and his brother Brian, who placed the colorful informational signs at C.R. 34 and U.S. 33 Thursday. A larger redwood sign will be placed at the main fairgrounds entrance the middle of next week after the Steffen donated their labor for the project and First National Bank donated money for the materials for the signs. The project is a memorial to the late Gene Moyer, a long-time board member who died last winter.
